  26. Due to popular demand I called the number and talked to a nice guy. He told
  27. me the following:

  29. The board does exsist.

  31. It consists of Lisa, Alice ,2Mb CHIP RAM and logic. There might be empty
  32. sockets for the Lisa and Alice due to copyright problems. You might have
  33. to buy them as spare parts to complete the board.

  35. It is in the final design stages and is not ready for production yet.
  36. He have had a prototype installed in his A3000 for a month now and it works.
  37. He had run SCALA and some CD32 games on it.

  39. The guy who does the actual hardware design is only doing it part-time, he has
  40. another job to attend to too. But they are working hard to get it into production.
  41. There are only some minor problems left to work out.

  43. The board will be installed in the empty sockets you get when you remove Agnus,
  44. Denise, all socketed chip memory and two PAL:s.

  46. The estimated price will be approximately SEK 4000 which is USD 570 or DEM 840.

  48. The _current_ version will only fit in an A3000 desktop, not the A3000T.

  50. Please avoid calling them, they need to have peace and quiet to finish the design.
